From old-school grime sets to modern brands giving their spin on the iconic silhouette 🧢🇬🇧\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWe initially considered a basic dog ear flap cap, but when we saw the Mains fitted cap, we were sold. The materials, embroidery, shape—it was next level 🤌🏽🫡\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWith the design locked in, it was time for upholstery work. Luckily we knew a team local to us in Birmingham📍But sourcing the right material? We knew it was corduroy but finding the right thickness and color in the UK? Tough. We scoured fabric shops to no avail. It was either keep searching or settle for something less banging. No way we were giving up 💪🏽🎯.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThen, we realized our mistake 🤔. We’d been looking at everyday fabrics, not upholstery ones. Once we switched gears, we found a UK supplier with the goods. But the colors didn’t quite match the OG Mains hat. Thankfully, our upholsterer worked their magic and got us the closest match in terms of corduroy thickness and color.
